Imphal, Dec 19: Security forces have successfully busted camps of two banned militant organisations, KYKL and PREPAK, in Makou Pourabi, Imphal East District. During the operation, a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and other incriminating materials were seized.

From the KYKL hideout, the forces recovered an air-gun, a keypad mobile handset with a SIM card, a BP helmet, and uniforms. At the PREPAK camp, authorities uncovered an INSAS LMG magazine, 47 fired cartridges, a bayonet, five wooden dummy guns, two Baofeng walkie-talkie sets, two four-wheelers, one two-wheeler, and several documents.

This operation underscores the ongoing efforts of security forces to dismantle insurgent networks and ensure peace in the region.
