Guwahati, Dec 29: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed on December 27 that the results for the Assam Direct Recruitment Exams (ADRE), held in October 2024, will be announced by late February or early March 2025. The announcement was made during a Facebook live session.

The ADRE exams, conducted in two phases, had a turnout of 8,27,130 candidates. The exams were held at 1,484 centers in the morning session (9:30 AM to 11:30 AM) and 808 centers in the afternoon session (1:30 PM to 4:00 PM) across Assam.

In addition, the Chief Minister revealed that the written examination for recruitment into the Assam Police will take place in February 2025.
