Security forces conducted extensive search and area domination operations in the fringe and vulnerable areas of hill and valley districts. The operations resulted in the recovery of a significant cache of arms, ammunition, and other items from Sagaishabi Road (Konchak Yangbi Road), Imphal West District.

Recovered items include 2 (two) 9 mm Pistols with 2 magazines, 1 (one) Carbine with a magazine, 1 (one) .303 Rifle modified as a Sniper with a scope sight, 3 (three) Single Barrel Guns, 12 (twelve) rounds of 9 mm ammunition, 2 (two) Single Barrel ammunition, 4 (four) Hand Grenades, 1 (one) Smoke Grenade and 1 (one) Baofeng Wireless set.

In a related development, the Manipur Police Control Room reported ensuring the movement of 426 vehicles carrying essential items along National Highway-2 (NH-2).To maintain law and order, strict security measures have been implemented, with security convoys provided along sensitive stretches.
