Imphal, Jan 7: Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla has urged the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) to expedite the ongoing highway projects in the state and ensure their completion within the stipulated deadlines.

In a meeting held at Raj Bhavan in Imphal, M S Deval, Executive Director of NHIDCL, provided an update on the progress of various national highway projects under construction across the state, along with the challenges faced in their execution.

The Governor emphasized the importance of completing these projects on time, highlighting that improved road connectivity is crucial for the state’s development.
