Based on reliable information from 46 AR, Kakching, two cadres of the proscribed KCP(Taibanganba) were apprehended from the Langmeidong area.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Mayanglambam Sanathoi Singh (30), son of M. Achou Singh, a resident of Kakching Khunou Chekshapat School Maning Leikai, Kakching District and Sanasam Suraj Singh (27), son of S. Somajit Singh, a resident of Wangoo Parking, Bishnupur District.

The duo was reportedly involved in extorting monetary demands from residents of Sugnu, Chairel, and Kakching Khunou areas in Kakching district.

Both individuals have been handed over to the local police station for further investigation and necessary legal action.
