Troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura successfully foiled multiple smuggling attempts along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
In the operations, the BSF rescued 4 cattle and seized large quantities of contraband, including 700 kg of sugar, 86 kg of ganja, 240 kg of rice, and 464 bottles of Phensedyl. The total value of the seized items is estimated at ₹11,77,777, along with 1230 Bangladeshi Taka.
The successful intervention underscores BSF’s continuous efforts to combat illegal trade across the border.
