BSF Tripura Seizes Contraband And Rescues Cattle Along Indo-Bangladesh Border

Border Security Force (BSF) troops in Tripura have successfully thwarted multiple smuggling attempts along the Indo-Bangladesh border. On the night of February 17-18, 2025, BSF personnel seized contraband items, including Ganja, sugar, clothing, and other goods worth ₹15,36,672, while rescuing 38 cattle from being smuggled.

Earlier, on February 16, 2025, BSF forces intercepted smuggling attempts that led to the seizure of Phensedyl/Eskuff, Ganja, and cigarettes valued at ₹5,72,870. The operations highlight the continued vigilance and dedication of BSF in securing the sensitive border area.
