Itanagar, Mar 18: The Arunachal Pradesh government has approved the introduction of Mass Communication courses at the undergraduate level in Dera Natung Government College (DNGC), Itanagar, and Jawaharlal Nehru College (JNC), Pasighat.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced the decision on social media on Tuesday, calling it a major boost for media education in the state. He credited the Core Committee for Communication (C3) and the Rajiv Gandhi University Students’ Union (RGUSU) for their advocacy in bringing the initiative to fruition.

The move aims to create more opportunities for aspiring journalists, filmmakers, and public relations professionals, paving the way for a stronger media industry in Arunachal Pradesh.
