Arunachal Athletes Shine at 4th KIO Under-21 National Karate Championship 2025

Itanagar, Mar 31: Arunachal Pradesh athletes delivered an impressive performance at the 4th KIO Under-21 National Karate Championship 2025, which concluded at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, securing a total of nine medals, including two gold, four silver, and three bronze.

John Sangdo won gold in the U-21 male kata category, while Mepung Langdo claimed gold in the below 68 kg female kumite event. Sangdo also secured a silver medal, along with Abab Sangdo, Sunday Bokar, and Khyoda Talik, who won silver in the men’s senior kata category.

Bronze medalists included Nime Lokam and Rota Rigia in the U-21 kumite category, Atum Sono in the para category, and Gomi Dolum and Rota Rigia in the senior kumite event.

The athletes’ achievements were celebrated as a testament to their hard work and dedication, bringing pride to Arunachal Pradesh.
