Aizawl, Apr 17: A seven-member Mizoram delegation will depart for Guwahati on April 24 to engage in official-level talks with Assam aimed at resolving the long-standing boundary dispute between the two states, a senior official confirmed on Wednesday.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on April 25 in Guwahati. The Mizoram delegation will be led by Home Secretary Vanlalmawia, while the Assam delegation is expected to be headed by a principal secretary or secretary from the Border Protection and Development Department.
