Aizawl, May 2: Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Thursday stated that the state government is making constant efforts to curb drug smuggling into Mizoram.
During a meeting with the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) delegation led by chairperson Antar Singh Arya in Aizawl, the chief minister said a coordination committee has been set up to strengthen the fight against the drug menace, according to an official statement.
He added that the government will continue to take necessary measures to prevent the trafficking of drugs and other contraband from neighbouring countries and states.
