Ganga Prasad, former Governor of Sikkim, arrived in the state on Tuesday to take part in the upcoming Statehood Day celebration on May 29.

He was received at the Rangpo Tourist Facilitation Centre by officials of the state government. The Statehood Day event commemorates Sikkim’s integration into the Indian Union and highlights the state’s progress over the years.
