Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday inaugurated the newly constructed office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lakhimpur Zila Parishad at Borimuri, Bypass Road in Lakhimpur. The two-storey building, built at a cost of ₹4 crore, is equipped with modern facilities aimed at enhancing public service delivery at the grassroots level.
Following the inauguration, the Chief Minister addressed the media and outlined key features of the building. In response to a question from a journalist, he assured that no Cook-cum-Helper would lose their job with the introduction of the new centralised kitchen under the Mid-Day Meal scheme.
