Guwahati, Jun 10: In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Cachar Police recovered approximately 1.5 lakh Yaba tablets valued at ₹45 crore during two consecutive anti-narcotics operations. The seizures were made based on credible intelligence inputs.

Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the operations. Assam Police reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the youth from the menace of drug abuse.
