Chaivalry Lartang has been crowned Miss Universe Meghalaya 2025 and will represent the state at the Miss Universe India 2025 competition, scheduled to take place in July 2025. The state-level selection was held on June 14, 2025, at Hotel Vivanta, Khyndailad, Shillong, where Chaivalry emerged victorious among several talented aspirants from across Meghalaya.

The event was jointly organized by the Meghalaya Tourism Youth Development Society (MTYDS) and Miss Universe India. Chaivalry, who previously secured the position of 1st Runner-Up at Miss Meghalaya 2024, impressed the judges with her poise, confidence, and charm.
