Rifiness Warjri, a 20-year-old NCC cadet from St. Anthony’s College, has become the third and the youngest woman from Meghalaya to successfully summit Mount Everest.

Warjri reached the peak of the world’s highest mountain on May 18, 2025. Speaking about the experience, she said holding the Indian flag at the summit was the happiest moment of her life.
