Itanagar, July 14: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday announced that 66 villages along the Myanmar border in Tirap, Changlang, and Longding districts will be developed under the Vibrant Villages Programme (VVP).
The initiative focuses on enhancing road connectivity, electricity, telecommunications, livelihood opportunities, and skill development in these remote border areas. The distribution of villages includes 42 in Changlang, 13 in Longding, and 11 in Tirap.
The Chief Minister emphasized that strengthening these border villages is crucial for regional development and national security.
