Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh attended the NABARD State Credit Seminar as the Chief Guest at Sangai Hall today, where the State Focus Paper for 2026–27 was officially launched.
The State Focus Paper outlines a strategic roadmap to strengthen rural credit delivery, promote agri-business, and foster inclusive economic growth across the state.
During the programme, a significant milestone was also marked with the virtual inauguration of the TRIBES Project at Churachandpur. The project aims at socio-economic upliftment and empowerment of tribal communities in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister emphasised that such initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to building a financially empowered, resilient, and inclusive Manipur, ensuring growth and opportunities for all sections of society.
