Concerns over road connectivity, water supply and healthcare services took centre stage during Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh’s visit to Thowai Kuki Village, where residents urged immediate government intervention.

Responding to the grievances, the Chief Minister assured that the issues would be addressed on priority, reaffirming the government’s commitment to improving essential services and ensuring better living conditions in rural areas.

The Chief Minister, accompanied by MLAs and officials, received a warm reception at the village, with a large gathering reflecting the community’s aspirations for development. He stated that the government remains dedicated to ensuring that every village receives due attention and continues to work towards inclusive growth.

In Ramva village, located about 25 kilometres from Ukhrul town, the Chief Minister was accorded a cordial welcome.

Interacting with locals, including school staff and students, he noted their enthusiasm and highlighted the importance of community engagement.
During the visit, residents raised concerns over peace and security in the area.

The Chief Minister assured that maintaining law and order remains a top priority, and that all necessary steps will be taken to ensure a stable and secure environment for the people.
