IMD Forecasts Isolated Heavy Rainfall Over Nagaland Till May 1

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated heavy rainfall over Nagaland until May 1, along with widespread light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning activity across the Northeast region over the next five days.

According to the forecast, gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 50 kmph are expected during this period. The weather office has also warned of thundersquall activity in Nagaland today, with wind speeds likely to reach 50 to 60 kmph, gusting up to 70 kmph.

The IMD has indicated that isolated heavy rainfall conditions may persist across Nagaland through May 1.
