Nand Kishore Yadav, Governor of Nagaland, chaired a review meeting on monsoon preparedness at Lok Bhavan in Kohima on Monday.
During the meeting, departments presented detailed preparedness plans in view of possible risks of floods, landslides, and irregular rainfall during the upcoming monsoon season. The plans included measures for road monitoring, emergency response systems, and management of essential supplies.
The Governor reviewed the arrangements and emphasized the need for coordinated action among departments, sustained vigilance, and timely response mechanisms to reduce disruption during the monsoon period.
