Agartala, May 7, 2026: Assam Rifles marked the first anniversary of OPERATION SINDOOR with a special outreach programme held in Agartala on Wednesday. The event featured an informative session and screening of motivational films for journalists from Tripura, as well as students and teachers of Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Agartala.

The programme underscored the importance of Operation Sindoor while reflecting the commitment, bravery and professionalism of the Armed Forces in ensuring the nation’s security. Through the initiative, Assam Rifles reiterated its dedication to strengthening ties and fostering goodwill with the local community.

Students took active part in the programme and were particularly drawn to the specially arranged selfie point, which emerged as one of the highlights of the event. Several students shared their admiration for the Armed Forces and expressed a desire to serve the country by joining the military in the future.
