Assam Police Seize Drugs Worth ₹4.5 Crore In Two Major Drug Busts

Assam Police have seized narcotics worth ₹4.5 crore in two separate anti-drug operations, making significant progress in their fight against the drug trade.

In the first operation, Cachar Police recovered 215 grams of suspected heroin, valued at ₹1.5 crore, from the Chota Manda area in Lakhipur. One person was arrested in connection with the recovery.

In a second operation, 10,000 YABA tablets worth ₹3 crore were seized at Jirighat, with another individual taken into custody.

These operations reflect the unwavering efforts of Assam Police in their continued campaign for a Drugs Free Assam.
