Manipur Police have arrested 12 individuals for violating curfew and disrupting public order in Thoubal district. Acting on the orders of a Magistrate, the violators have been assigned one week of community service for breaching prohibitory orders.

The individuals are currently engaged in cleaning the Khongjom War Memorial site following the state function held there.

Meanwhile, security forces have intensified search operations and area domination exercises in fringe and vulnerable areas across districts.

A total of 112 naka/checkpoints have been set up across Manipur, covering both hill and valley regions, while eight persons have been detained during the operations.
