Itanagar, Sep 8: Arunachal Pradesh on Monday commemorated the 100th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, celebrating his lasting contributions to music, culture, and regional unity.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu led the tributes, noting that Hazarika’s songs transcended boundaries and fostered a sense of togetherness across the Northeast.

Sharing his thoughts on X, Khandu said the maestro’s music continues to inspire peace, harmony, and pride in the region’s cultural heritage.
