Assam Rifles, in collaboration with Mizoram Police, seized 600 cases of foreign-origin cigarettes in Cherhlun, Lawngtlai district. The total value of the seized cigarettes is estimated to be Rs 7.8 crore.

The entire consignment has been handed over to the Thingsai Police Department in Hnahthial for further investigation and legal proceedings. This operation underscores the efforts to curb illegal trade and smuggling in the region.
