In a fresh operation under the Assam government’s anti-drug campaign, Sribhumi Police seized 20,000 YABA tablets and 14,100 bottles of codeine-based cough syrup with an estimated market value of ₹6.4 crore.

Police arrested two alleged drug traffickers during the operation. The seizure was made as part of the ongoing Assam Against Drugs campaign being carried out across the state.

Assam Police said efforts to curb drug trafficking and narcotics-related activities will continue through sustained enforcement operations.
