Delegation Reviews TRIPTI Project Implementation in Tripura, Interacts with Community Cadres

Agartala, May 08, 2026: A distinguished delegation comprising Nita Kejrewal and Charanjit Singh visited Tripura on Friday to review the implementation of initiatives under Project TRIPTI and TRLM activities across the state.

During the visit, the delegation assessed various on-ground project activities and interacted with community cadres and beneficiaries to gain firsthand insight into the impact of the programmes at the grassroots level.

The discussions primarily focused on livelihood enhancement, skill development, women’s empowerment, and community-driven initiatives being implemented under the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM). The delegation also reviewed efforts aimed at strengthening self-help groups and creating sustainable income-generation opportunities for vulnerable sections of society.

Officials said the visit underscored the significance of collaborative efforts in ensuring inclusive and sustainable rural development in Tripura. The delegation appreciated the role played by community cadres in successfully implementing the schemes and empowering rural households across the state.
