Manipur CM Inaugurates Bridges in Lamsang to Boost Connectivity and Economic Growth

Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand on Friday inaugurated the Pucca Bridge over the Merakhong Stream at Salam Mamang Leikai and the Pucca Bridge over the Maklang River near Maklang Bazaar in Lamsang Assembly Constituency in the presence of MLA S. Rajen Singh and Kh. Ibomcha Singh of Lamlai Assembly Constituency.

The Chief Minister said the infrastructure projects would strengthen connectivity, improve access to markets, educational institutions and healthcare facilities, and facilitate seamless movement of people and goods. He stated that enhanced connectivity would further accelerate economic growth and inclusive development in the region.

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister also inaugurated an RCC Bridge over the Nambul River at Akham Mayai Leikai in Lamsang Assembly Constituency in the presence of MLA S. Rajen Singh.

He said the Government of Manipur remains committed to improving road connectivity and developing quality infrastructure to ensure that the benefits of progress reach every corner of the State.
