Manipur CM Inaugurates Exclusive NIA Special Court At Thoubal

Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand on Monday inaugurated the Exclusive Special Court (NIA), Manipur at the Thoubal Court Complex in Khangabok.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Outer Manipur MP Alfred K. S. Arthur, Home Minister K. Govindas Singh, MLAs, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Manipur, the Chief Secretary, and senior legal and civil officials.

The establishment of the dedicated court marks a significant step towards strengthening the justice delivery system in the state by ensuring speedy trial of scheduled offences and cases investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the special court would help enhance judicial efficiency and further reinforce the rule of law in the state.

He also reiterated that the Government of Manipur remains committed to ensuring fair, transparent and timely justice for all citizens.
