Chief Minister of Manipur, Yumnam Khemchand, today inaugurated the Manipur Police Museum at the 1st Manipur Rifles Battalion Complex in the presence of Director General of Police Rajiv Singh and other senior police officials.
The museum preserves the rich legacy, evolution and service history of the Manipur Police through a collection of antique arms, historical uniforms, rare photographs and archival documents. It has been established as a tribute to the dedication, courage and sacrifices of generations of police personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the museum would serve as a valuable repository of Manipur’s policing heritage and inspire future generations.
The Chief Minister further reiterated the Government’s commitment to supporting and promoting the institution.
