In a tragic incident, a bomb attack was reported at Tronglaobi Awang Leikai in Manipur’s Bishnupur district in the early hours of Tuesday, allegedly carried out by Kuki militants.

According to sources, the explosion occurred around 1:05 AM while a mother and her two minor children were asleep inside their bedroom. The sudden blast led to devastating consequences, claiming the lives of both children on the spot.

The victims have been identified as a 5-year-old boy and his 5-month-old sister. The mother reportedly survived the attack.
