Imphal, Sept 6: On Friday morning, suspected militants launched a bomb attack in Bishnupur district, damaging two structures, according to police. Rockets fired from Churachandpur district’s hill areas targeted Tronglaobi, 45km from Imphal, with a range of over 3km. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

A community hall and an empty room were damaged in the attack. Security forces retaliated after suspected militants fired rounds towards Bishnupur district. On Thursday night, multiple drones were spotted hovering low over Kumbi village, near Tronglaobi, causing heightened tension among locals.

The incidents have raised concerns about the escalating violence in the region, with authorities working to maintain law and order.
