The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) on Saturday staged a protest in Mendipathar against rising prices and alleged irregularities in national-level examinations.
Congress leaders and workers demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, alleging that the Ministry of Education had failed to ensure a fair and transparent conduct of examinations, including NEET.
The protesters also raised concerns over the increasing cost of essential commodities and called for corrective measures.
