Nagaland: Kohima Police Returns 33 Recovered Mobile Phones To Owners

Kohima, June 3: Kohima Police has returned 33 lost and stolen mobile phones to their rightful owners as part of its ongoing public service and community policing efforts. The recovered devices are collectively valued at approximately ₹5.86 lakh.

According to police, 29 mobile phones recovered over the past one and a half months were recently handed over to their owners. Of these, 17 mobile phones valued at around ₹3 lakh were earlier returned at the South Police Station. The remaining 12 mobile phones, worth approximately ₹2.14 lakh, were later handed over at the North Police Station on June 1.

Police also stated that, prior to these recoveries, four additional mobile phones valued at around ₹72,500 had been traced and returned to their owners.

With these recoveries, a total of 33 mobile phones have been successfully traced and handed over to their respective owners.
