Agartala, May 16, 2026: Train operations on the Badarpur–Silchar railway route continue to run smoothly despite ongoing heavy rainfall in the region. Railway authorities have confirmed that there has been no disruption to services due to rain or landslides, and all trains on the route are operating according to their scheduled timetables.

According to reports, a minor mudslide occurred yesterday alongside the railway tracks in the Panchgram area near Badarpur. However, railway personnel responded promptly and successfully cleared the affected section without causing any interruption to train movement.

Officials stated that the situation is fully under control and the concerned area is being kept under constant surveillance as a precautionary measure. Railway teams are closely monitoring the route to ensure passenger safety and uninterrupted operations.

The railway authorities have also appealed to passengers not to panic, assuring that there is no cause for concern at present. They reiterated that train services remain completely normal and all necessary safety measures are in place to deal with any weather-related issues.
