Agartala, June 1, 2026: Sepahijala district’s District Magistrate & Collector Dr. Siddartha Shiv Jaiswal conducted a joint inspection of the Boxanagar Border Area under Sonamura Sub-Division on Monday. The visit was carried out in coordination with the Superintendent of Police, Commandant of 49 Battalion BSF, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Sonamura), and the concerned Tehsildar.

The high-level team assessed the prevailing situation in the sensitive border region, reviewed existing security arrangements, and evaluated ongoing administrative measures. During the visit, officials interacted with field-level functionaries and discussed key issues related to border management, public safety, and effective coordination among agencies.
