Agartala, May 16, 2026: Tripura’s growing startup ecosystem earned national and international recognition as three innovative startups from the state showcased their technologies at the prestigious ICC World Technology Convention 2026 held on May 8 and 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre.
The two-day global convention was organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce under the theme “Technology for Make in India,” bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, investors, diplomats, innovators, and international delegates from across the world.
Representing Startup Tripura at the convention were HN Technovations LLP with its flagship innovation InstaWater, ONE Campus Sustainable Solutions Private Limited, and Digiskill Global with its EdTech platform Digigyanam. The startups were accompanied by officials from the Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura, the nodal agency implementing the Startup Tripura initiative.
Among the major attractions from the state was InstaWater by HN Technovations LLP, which received significant appreciation for its indigenous portable and hybrid water purification technologies. Designed for disaster response, defence applications, emergency preparedness, rural communities, institutions, and off-grid areas, the innovation highlighted Tripura’s capability in developing practical and globally relevant technological solutions. Developed from innovations originating at Tripura University, the technology drew attention for addressing critical issues related to safe drinking water and climate resilience.
ONE Campus Sustainable Solutions Private Limited showcased sustainable bamboo-based structural solutions promoting eco-friendly infrastructure and low-cost development models suited for campuses, rural infrastructure, and green construction initiatives.
Meanwhile, Digigyanam from Digiskill Global presented its advanced EdTech platform aimed at enhancing digital education and skill development for schools and colleges in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, helping bridge the digital divide in emerging regions.
The innovative presentations from Tripura startups were highly appreciated by delegates and industry stakeholders, leading to encouraging discussions on future collaborations, partnerships, networking opportunities, and business expansion prospects.
Officials from the Directorate of Information Technology stated that the successful participation of Tripura-based startups at national platforms reflects the positive outcomes of the Startup Tripura Policy and the government’s sustained efforts to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth-led enterprises in the state.
