The 50th Foundation Day of the Manipur Press Club was celebrated today at the club premises in Majorkhul, Imphal. The event was jointly organized by the Manipur Press Club Management Committee (MPCMC) and the All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU).

Dignitaries including IPR Minister Dr. Sapam Ranjan, MLA Khumkcham Joykishan, AMWJU President Bijoy Kakchingtabam, Editors Guild Manipur President Khogendra Khomdram, and former office bearers of the Press Club attended the program alongside numerous journalists.

As part of the observance, floral tributes were paid to the Journalist Memorial Pillars, honoring the contributions and sacrifices of media professionals. The event highlighted the significance of journalism in society and commemorated five decades of the Manipur Press Club’s service to the press fraternity.
