BSF Seizes Contraband Worth Over ₹27 Lakh, Thwarts Smuggling Attempts Along Indo-Bangladesh Border In Tripura

Troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura successfully intercepted multiple smuggling attempts along the Indo-Bangladesh Border, recovering contraband valued at ₹27,08,222 in two separate operations.

In the first operation, BSF personnel seized 08 kilograms of Ganja, 40 bottles of Phensedyl, 1,150 kilograms of sugar, and other contraband items, worth ₹21,87,032. In another operation, they confiscated additional contraband including Ganja, Phensedyl, and sugar, valued at ₹5,21,190.

Additionally, the BSF rescued 06 cattle during these operations. The seized items and rescued cattle were handed over to the relevant authorities for further action.
