Tripura: 98% Work Done, Targeting 100% for People’s Welfare, Says Minister Sudhangshu Das in Dhalai District Review Meet

Agartala, December 8, 2025: The second phase of the district-level review meeting for the 2025–26 financial year was convened at the Dhalai District Magistrate’s conference hall under the chairmanship of Minister for Scheduled Caste Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development, Sudhangshu Das.

The meeting was attended by key representatives including Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Sushmita Das, Saha-Sabhadhipati Anadi Sarkar, MLA Shambhulal Chakma, Ambassa Municipal Council Chairperson Pratima Malakar, Ambassa Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Hemali Debbarma, Salema Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Bani Das, along with senior officials from various departments and elected representatives at different levels.

Speaking at the session, Minister Das emphasized that the review aimed to assess the progress of works undertaken with allocated budgetary funds and identify pending tasks. He noted that discussions also focused on the implementation status of decisions taken during the previous review meeting.

Highlighting the district’s performance in fish, meat, and egg production, the minister said deliberations were held on strategies to further boost output and address existing gaps in development projects. He added that the meeting also reviewed the extent to which central and state government schemes for farmers have been implemented, as well as the facilities provided to Scheduled Caste communities and students.

Minister Das stated that nearly 98 percent of departmental work has been completed, with efforts underway to achieve full implementation. “Our goal is to ensure 100 percent delivery of services to the people,” he affirmed. Concluding his remarks, he announced that several new initiatives are in the pipeline, which will be introduced for the benefit of the state’s residents in the coming days.
