Gyalshing, June 2: Sikkim Minister for Tourism & Civil Aviation, Commerce & Industries, and Food Processing Industries, and Area MLA Tshering T. Bhutia on Tuesday inspected the ongoing Eco City Centre Development Project at Labdang in Gyalshing district to review the progress of the works.
During the visit, the Minister interacted with representatives of the concerned Gram Panchayats, local stakeholders, and residents. He stressed the importance of maintaining quality standards in the execution of the project, stating that the initiative would help strengthen local infrastructure, promote rural tourism, and create livelihood opportunities for the people of the area.
Tshering T. Bhutia directed the concerned officials and executing agencies to ensure timely completion of the project while adhering to high standards of quality and workmanship.
According to officials, the project is expected to be inaugurated soon, marking a significant milestone in the development of Labdang and its surrounding areas.
