Agartala, May 08, 2026: In a remarkable achievement bringing pride to the North Eastern Region, 15 Tripura Battalion NCC has secured an impressive second position in the North East Directorate among 53 units, marking a significant milestone in its growth and performance.

Adding to the success, Ramthakur College has been adjudged the Best College in Tripura, while National Institute of Technology Agartala (NIT Agartala) has earned the distinction of Best Technical College in the entire North Eastern Region under the aegis of the battalion.

Addressing the media, Rohan Gupta, Commanding Officer of 15 Tripura BN NCC, expressed pride over the accomplishment. He described the battalion’s journey from a single company to a full-fledged unit as a testament to discipline, dedication, and sustained effort.

He attributed the success to the relentless commitment of NCC cadets, supported by the guidance of Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) and Caretaker Training Officers (CTOs). He also extended congratulations to the principals of Ramthakur College and NIT Agartala for their continued support in promoting NCC activities and nurturing young talent.
