Agartala, May 15, 2026: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday reviewed the upcoming Tripura Urban Livability Improvement Project (TULIP), which is being funded by the Asian Development Bank, at the TIFT Conference Hall in Agartala.
The review meeting was held in the presence of the ADB mission headed by Manoj Sharma along with senior officials of the Government of Tripura. Members of the ADB delegation included Sorin Chung, Bhavesh Kumar and safeguard specialist Bing, among others.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Saha reviewed various aspects of the proposed urban development initiative aimed at improving urban infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life in Tripura’s towns and urban areas.
Sharing details of the meeting, Dr. Saha said that the government is committed to strengthening urban infrastructure and ensuring planned urban growth with the support of development partners like ADB.

Officials discussed key components of the TULIP project, including urban services, sustainable infrastructure, water management and overall livability enhancement measures for urban residents in the state.
Senior officials from different departments of the Tripura government were also present during the review meeting.
