Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with Champhai Police, recovered 11.10 grams of heroin (No-4) valued at approximately ₹8.32 lakh from the general area of Zote in Champhai district of Mizoram on Tuesday.

During the operation, two individuals were apprehended in connection with the seizure.

Officials stated that the recovered contraband along with the detained individuals has been handed over to the Excise and Narcotics Department in Champhai for further investigation and legal action.
