Agartala, May 04, 2026: The election process for key leadership positions of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) is set to take place on May 5 and 6 at Khumulwng, marking an important development in the council’s administrative formation.
According to an official notification issued by Subal Debbarma, the election for the posts of Chairman and Chief Executive Member (CEM) will be held on May 5 at 11:00 AM at the Council Bhawan in Khumulwng. The Chairman and CEM will be elected from among the newly elected members of the council. All members have been requested to remain present at the designated time and venue.
The following day, on May 6 at 11:00 AM, the oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected Chief Executive Member, along with other Executive Members, will be organized at the Nuai Auditorium in Khumulwng. All council members have been invited to attend the ceremony.
The upcoming events are expected to formally constitute the new executive body of the TTAADC, paving the way for governance and development initiatives in the tribal areas of Tripura.
